Bald eagles typically lay one to three eggs per year<\/a>, with two being the most common, according to the National Audubon Society.<\/p>\n The Pennsylvania Game Commission, in partnership with Comcast, has livestreamed an eagle nest in an unnamed Lancaster County farm field using the California-based company HDonTap since fall 2019.<\/p>\n The eagles, dubbed Lisa and Oliver by some fans though others are adamant that they should not be named, may become parents in a few weeks. Viable eggs hatch in mid-to-late March, according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.<\/p>\n Once eggs hatch, the eaglets typically fledge (leave the nest) in June and can be spotted visiting the nest through the summer, according to the game commission.<\/p>\n In 2025, the eagle pair laid three eggs, but only two eaglets managed to fledge. The last season when the camera captured a clutch of four was 2023, and only three eaglets hatched and fledged, according to the livestream\u2019s history section.<\/p>\n There\u2019s also an eagle nest in Hanover<\/a> that has been livestreamed since 2015 and seen some harrowing moments, such as the fighting off of intruders, new mates, eaglets being knocked from the nest and eggs failing to hatch.
