Lower Saucon Township residents and business owners will soon have another option when it comes to high-speed Internet.<\/p>\n
According to a Comcast spokesperson, the company is expanding its Xfinity network and Comcast Business services to all of the township, with work scheduled to begin later this spring.<\/p>\n
\u201cLower Saucon will\u00a0join\u202fthe more\u202fthan 64 million\u202fhomes and businesses across the country to have access to a network that is trusted by essential community organizations like hospitals, schools, transportation systems and first responders,\u201d she said. \u201cResidents\u202fwill be able to take advantage\u202fof the\u202ffull suite\u00a0of\u00a0Xfinity\u202fproducts\u202fincluding\u202fInternet<\/a>,\u202fvideo<\/a>,\u202fmobile<\/a>,\u202fvoice<\/a>\u202fand\u202fhome security<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n In a statement, the spokesperson said the expansion is part of Comcast\u2019s ongoing investment in the Lehigh Valley, where it has already brought Xfinity to Coopersburg borough (2023) and Upper Saucon Township (2025). According to a Feb. 12 news release, Comcast is also expanding Xfinity to homes and businesses in Freemansburg, Bethlehem Township, Palmer Township, Forks Township, Easton and Emmaus. The spokesperson confirmed that expansion into Hellertown borough is also planned.<\/p>\n \u201cIn addition to\u202fexpanding\u202fits\u202fnetwork,\u202fthe company is\u202finvesting in initiatives like\u202fInternet Essentials\u202fand\u202flocal organizations like the\u202fHispanic Center Lehigh Valley (HCLV),\u202fthrough\u202fProject UP, \u202fits\u202f$1 billion\u202fcommitment to advancing digital opportunity nationwide,\u201d the spokesperson said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
