The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman walked onto the Turnpike and was hit by a car on Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n
L\u00e9elo en espa\u00f1ol aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/p>\n The crash happened on Interstate 275 at mile marker 337.6 in Whitemarsh Township just before 4 p.m. on Oct. 22, according to officials. <\/p>\n Troopers reported that a woman allegedly walked onto the turnpike when she was then hit by a car. <\/p>\n The woman was badly hurt and was taken to a nearby hospital by medical helicopter, troopers said. <\/p>\n The driver of that car stayed at the scene, police said. <\/p>\n The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating this crash as a possible attempted suicide, officials said. <\/p>\n \tIf you or someone you know is in crisis, call\u00a0or text\u00a0988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline\u00a0or chat live at\u00a0988lifeline.org<\/a>.
