NWS issues dense fog advisory for parts of south-central Pennsylvania<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTHE ECONOMY. THE MEETING RUNS THROUGH SATURDAY. IT\u2019S 451, AND WE ARE ONCE AGAIN WARNING YOU ABOUT A FOGGY START. IF YOU\u2019RE HEADING OUT THE DOOR RIGHT NOW. SO BY NOW, HOPEFULLY YOU ARE PREPARED TO DRIVE IN THE FOG. IF YOU HAVE BEEN DRIVING IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, WE\u2019RE GETTING USED TO THIS, CHRISTINE. WE SURE ARE. AND I\u2019M TELLING YOU, WE COULD SEE ANOTHER ROUND OF FOG TOMORROW MORNING WITH SOME RAIN. SO THAT\u2019S WHAT WE\u2019RE GOING TO BE WATCHING OUT FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW UNTIL WE CAN GET THIS FOG OUT OF HERE, UNTIL WE CAN GET SOME WIND TO STIR UP THE ATMOSPHERE AND EXCHANGE THIS AIR MASS. RIGHT NOW, THERE\u2019S A DENSE FOG ADVISORY UNTIL 9:00 FOR THE COUNTIES LIT UP IN GRAY. YOU CAN SEE IT\u2019S STILL FOGGY ELSEWHERE. WE HAVE VISIBILITY DOWN TO NEAR ZERO IN LEWISTOWN, THREE QUARTER MILE VISIBILITY IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, AND VISIBILITY DOWN TO A HALF MILE IN SOME OTHER AREAS. IN ADDITION, AIR QUALITY ALERT AGAIN TODAY, SAME STORY. THAT DENSE, COLD AIR, THAT SNOW PACK MELTING AT THE SURFACE, WARMER AIR RIDING UP AND ABOVE IT. IF WE HAD WINDY CONDITIONS TODAY, IT WOULD BE PRETTY MILD DAY. THERE IS WARMER AIR ALOFT AND THAT\u2019S WHAT LOCKS THIS COLD AIR IN PLACE AT THE SURFACE AND LOCKS THOSE POLLUTANTS IN PLACE AS WELL. SO TODAY, OUR NEWS EIGHT STORM TEAM FORECAST CALLS FOR DENSE MORNING FOG. RAIN DEVELOPING LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH, AND IT WILL BE COOL AND CALM TODAY. I DON\u2019T THINK WE GET OUT OF THE 30S IN A FEW SPOTS. COULD TOUCH 40 IN OTHERS. TONIGHT. WIDESPREAD RAIN, AREAS OF FOG AND LIGHT WINDS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE AROUND 34 DEGREES FOR MOST SPOTS AND THEN RISING A LITTLE BIT OVERNIGHT AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW MORNING, RAIN WILL BE ENDING. A COUPLE OF SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE LATER IN THE DAY, BUT I DON\u2019T SEE MUCH. IT WILL BE A SEASONABLE DAY WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 42 DEGREES, SO TH\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
