PHILADELPHIA\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The\u00a0University of\u00a0Pennsylvania\u00a0women’s\u00a0tennis team will be hosting two matches this weekend at the Hecht Tennis Center. On Friday,\u00a0they will be\u00a0facing\u00a0Delaware at 12:30\u00a0p.m.\u00a0and FDU\u00a0at 11:00\u00a0a.m. on Sunday.\u00a0The Quakers enter the weekend after\u00a0competing\u00a0in the ECAC Championships where\u00a0they advanced\u00a0to the finals\u00a0after\u00a0defeating Dartmouth and Columbia, before falling to Yale\u00a0in the championship match, bringing the season record to 5-3. The team hopes to\u00a0get back\u00a0in\u00a0the winning column\u00a0this weekend.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

*\u00a0Penn lost two of three doubles matches\u00a0against Dartmouth,\u00a0but won four of six singles\u00a0matches as they secured the\u00a04-3 win.\u00a0The Quakers\u00a0lost\u00a0two\u00a0doubles matches\u00a0against Columbia\u00a0but again won four of six singles\u00a0matches,\u00a0winning again,\u00a04-3.\u00a0Yale won\u00a0all three doubles\u00a0matches and three singles for a final score of 0-4\u00a0in the final match.\u00a0<\/p>\n
