Erie Insurance President and CEO Tim NeCastro has plans to retire, the company announced Friday.<\/p>\n
NeCastro was named CEO of the Fortune 500 company ten years ago and has spent 30 years at Erie Insurance overall.<\/p>\n
During his time as boss, Erie Insurance grew to nearly $13 billion in premium and more than 7 million policies in force.<\/p>\n
In 2014, he led the company\u2019s expansion into Kentucky, marking Erie Insurance\u2019s entry into its 12th state.<\/p>\n
He also led the company through last June\u2019s significant cyber-security incident that forced a temporary system shutdown.<\/p>\n
Word from the company is that they\u2019ll immediately start the search for NeCastro\u2019s successor.<\/p>\n
