{"id":11933,"date":"2025-10-23T01:23:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T01:23:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/11933\/"},"modified":"2025-10-23T01:23:43","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T01:23:43","slug":"allegheny-county-students-among-winners-in-2025-pennsylvania-school-bus-safety-poster-contest-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/11933\/","title":{"rendered":"Allegheny County students among winners in 2025 Pennsylvania School Bus Safety Poster Contest \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. \u2014 Local students\u2019 creations impressed judges in a statewide competition centered around school bus safety.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Officials on Wednesday announced the winners of the 2025 Pennsylvania School Bus Safety Poster Contest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">More than 300 students submitted entries under the theme \u201cSafety First \u2013 Safety Always.\u201d Nine students, including four from Allegheny County, placed in the top three across two different grade-level brackets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Grades 3-5<\/p>\n<p>First Place: Lipi Kairi, Baker Elementary School, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.Second Place: Akshay Subash, Franklin Middle School, Sewickley, Allegheny County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Grades 6-8<\/p>\n<p>First Place: Arjun Kairi, Fort Couch Middle School, Upper St. Clair, Allegheny County.
