Polar plunge: Special Olympics Pennsylvania Northeast Polar Plunge will be held Feb. 28 at Montage Mountain Resorts; check-in and in-person registration, noon, followed by opening ceremonies at 2 p.m., which rolls right into the first wave of plunging. Anyone can attend as a plunge spectator, free of charge, and enjoy activities at Plunge Town from noon-4 p.m. These activities include Plunge Day music by DJ Dan NEPA, giveaways, yard game entertainment, fun competitions and \u201cToo Chicken to Plunge\u201d activities complete with yellow feather boas, dancing the chicken dance and watching the plungers. Earlier in the week, on Thursday, 17 schools with over 600 plungers will head to Montage Mountain to participate in the Cool Schools Plunge.
