WBS jumped out to a three-goal lead after two periods in a 4-1 victory over Lehigh Valley on Wednesday night at Mohegan Arena.<\/p>\n
The Penguins (5-0) hit the road for back-to-back games in Charlotte this weekend. It\u2019s also the second-straight win over Lehigh Valley this season, winning, 4-1, at the PPL Center on Oct. 12.<\/p>\n
WBS dominated the power play Wednesday night, scoring twice with the man advantage. Danton Heinen\u2019s power-play goal four minutes into the game gave the Pens a 1-0 lead before Avery Hayes added his third goal of the year for the 2-0 lead after one period.<\/p>\n
Atley Calvert\u2019s fourth goal, also coming off the power play, gave WBS a 3-1 lead before Ville Koivunen\u2019s penalty shot gave the locals the 4-1 lead at the second intermission.<\/p>\n
Keeper Sergei Murashov picked up another victory in goal, stopping 26 of 27 shots.<\/p>\n
