SAVANNAH, Ga. \u2014 The Villanova golf team finished its first day at the Savannah Intercollegiate tied for 12th Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The ‘Cats shot 597 (+21) as a team on the day. Matt Zerfass<\/a> finished the day in 26th place after shooting 70 (-2) in the first round and 77 (+5) in the second to finish the day at 147 (+3).\u00a0<\/p>\n Ryan Pamer<\/a> followed for VU in 39th, shooting 149 (+5) through two rounds.<\/p>\n Vibhav Alokam<\/a> finished the day in 43rd, shooting 150 (+6). Alokam eagled at four in the second round.\u00a0<\/p>\n Brockton English<\/a> rounded out the scored Villanova golfers, finishing tied for 50th after shooting 151 (+7) through Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n VU individuals Nathan Marion<\/a>, Joshua Lavely<\/a>, Luke Leonard<\/a>, Peter Barros<\/a> and Ian Love<\/a> were led by Lavely, who shot 151 (+7) and also sits tied for 50th after the first two rounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n The final round of the Savannah Intercollegiate begins with a shotgun start with a tee time of 1 p.m. Live updates can be found on Scoreboard Clippd.
