PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia could be under a foot of snow<\/a> by Monday, which could mean disaster for those parked along the city’s streets.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Parking Authority is offering a flat 24-hour $5 discounted parking rate at these Center City garages until the snow emergency is lifted:<\/p>\n

To receive the discounted $5 rate, customers\u00a0must bring their ticket and pay at the PPA Management Office\u00a0in each garage.<\/p>\n

Starting at\u00a04 p.m. Sunday,\u00a0all\u00a0meter\/kiosk, and time limit violations on residential blocks\u00a0will\u00a0not\u00a0be enforced until the snow emergency is lifted. However, vehicles illegally parked on\u00a0snow emergency routes<\/a>\u00a0will be subject to ticketing and towing.<\/p>\n
