Winds gusting as high as 30 mph on Monday,” says the weather service. “Light snow will transition to bands of heavier lake enhanced snow tonight and persist through Monday. Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall are expected, with the heaviest snowfall likely on Monday morning.”<\/p>\n
“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes,” describes the weather service. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel.”<\/p>\n
