\"VisitErie<\/p>\n

The first round of Matching Funds Program from VisitErie have been distributed to nine local businesses and organizations.<\/p>\n

These recipients have received a total of $7,400 in matching funds to support event planning, promotional efforts, or operational needs for events to attract the visitor\u2019s attention. Up to $1,000 requests were reviews and awards were distributed based on pre-established criteria.<\/p>\n

Event Matching Funds Round One Recipients:<\/p>\n

Edinboro Art & Music Festival (EAMF): Downtown Edinboro Art & Music Festival, $1,000<\/p>\n

Erie County Public Library: HistERIE 2026, $1,000<\/p>\n

Erie County Veterans Memorial Park: Memorial Day Ceremony, $500<\/p>\n

Erie\u2019s Black Wall Street: Juneteenth Mix & Mingle, $1,000<\/p>\n

Hurry Hill Farms: Maple Taste and Tour Celebrates America250, $900<\/p>\n

Lilly Broadcasting: Wine on the Lake, $1,000<\/p>\n

Monica Graves-Garcia: Sol Fest: Summer Solstice Celebration, $1,000<\/p>\n

Presque Isle Audubon Society: Festival of the Birds, $500<\/p>\n

Urban Ministries: The Gospel and Soul Traditional Music Festival, $500<\/p>\n

The next round will be open to events taking place July 1 to Dec. 31, 2026. Applicants do not need to be VisitErie partners to apply.
