\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Linda G. (Lehman) Kauffman, 77, formerly of West Reading, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the care of Phoebe Berks. She was the beloved wife of John R. \u201cBob\u201d Kauffman, whom she married on April 17, 1985.<\/p>\n
Born to the late Pere C. and Dorothy J. (Herzog) Lehman, Linda was raised in West Reading. She graduated from Geisinger Medical Center\u2019s School of Nursing in Danville and worked as a nurse practitioner for many years, finally retiring in 2011 from the Surgical Institute of Reading. She previously worked at Community General Hospital and McTammany, Ebersole, Kohl, and Zerby Associates. From 1980 through 2000, she co-owned and operated the Country Store in West Reading.<\/p>\n
She was a member of the Wyomissing Church of the Brethren.<\/p>\n
Left to treasure her memory are her husband, John; daughter, Karen Leiboff (Joshua), Wernersville; step-children: Sherry Hartman (Douglas), Emmaus, PA; Sharon Mesisca (Nicholas), Harmony, PA; and Andrew Kauffman, Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Costello (James), SC, and Terry Lehman, DE.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be offered to Western Berks Shepherding Ministries, 108 S Robeson St., Robesonia, PA 19551.<\/p>\n
The viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. with committal to follow at Friedens Cemetery, Oley.
