Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening closed several entrances to Bethlehem<\/a> Governorate and shut down the \u201cContainer\u201d military checkpoint, before raiding the town of Al-Dawha west of the city, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.<\/p>\n

Security sources told Wafa that occupation forces sealed off the entrances to Qabr Hilweh, Al-Fardis and Marah Rabah, as well as the southern entrance to Bethlehem Governorate and the town of Al-Khader at Al-Nashash. The eastern entrance to Al-Khader at Al-Manashir was also closed, in addition to the \u201cContainer\u201d checkpoint northeast of Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

The closures were reportedly carried out on the pretext that a vehicle had attempted to carry out a ramming attack on what is known as the \u201cTunnel Road.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sources added that occupation forces later stormed the town of Al-Dawha, west of Bethlehem. However, no house raids or arrests were reported during the incursion.<\/p>\n

Movement restrictions, including sudden checkpoint closures, are frequently imposed by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank, significantly disrupting daily life for Palestinian residents.<\/p>\n

The latest closures and military incursions further compound long-standing restrictions that affect both Muslim and Christian residents of Bethlehem, disrupting daily life and limiting freedom.<\/p>\n
