{"id":123319,"date":"2026-02-25T19:03:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T19:03:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/123319\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T19:03:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T19:03:08","slug":"pennsylvania-man-allegedly-steals-vehicle-arrested-in-cave-city-restaurant-parking-lot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/123319\/","title":{"rendered":"Pennsylvania man allegedly steals vehicle, arrested in Cave City restaurant parking lot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"770\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/hammond.png\" class=\"wp-image-2598901 attachment-large size-large wp-post-image\" alt=\"Hammond\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>CAVE CITY, Ky. \u2013 A Pennsylvania man is charged after allegedly stealing a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>According to a uniform citation, the Kentucky State Police Post 3 received an attempt locate a vehicle from KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>KSP says the suspect\u2019s cell phone was pinged and located at the McDonald\u2019s parking in Cave City.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Joshua Hammond of North East, Pennsylvania, was located inside the vehicle at the parking lot, according to the uniform citation.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers say the vehicle has Pennsylvania registration and was determined to be stolen through the National Crime Information Center.<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, Hammond allegedly possessed suspected methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>Hammond was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-offense (methamphetamine).<\/p>\n<p>He was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CAVE CITY, Ky. \u2013 A Pennsylvania man is charged after allegedly stealing a vehicle.
