Pennsylvania voters are divided on if Gov. Josh Shapiro would make a good president, according to polling<\/a> from Quinnipiac University.<\/p>\n

The data was collected from 836 registered Pennsylvania voters who were randomly surveyed via phone call from Feb. 19-23.<\/p>\n

On Shapiro, gubernatorial race<\/p>\n

A majority of voters (56%) approve of Shapiro’s performance as governor, but they didn’t share the same confidence in his ability as a future president. <\/p>\n

40% of voters said Shapiro would make a good president, but 43% said he would not make a good president. These results fell along party lines, with 69% of Democrats believing Shapiro would be a good president, while 74% of Republicans believe he would not be a good president.<\/p>\n

Shapiro is also favored 55 – 37 percent over Republican gubernatorial Stacy Garrity ahead of the 2026 election, according to the data.<\/p>\n

On Pennsylvania senators\"Senator<\/p>\n

Sen. John Fetterman is part of the Democratic Party, but Republican voters seem to overwhelmingly favor him, according to the poll results. <\/p>\n

The data shows 73% of Republicans approve of the way Fetterman is handling his job, while 62% of Democrats disapprove of Fetterman. <\/p>\n

For Republican Sen. Dave McCormick, the data was less conclusive. 37% of voters approved of him, 33% disapproved and another 30% of voters didn’t answer. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Pennsylvania voters are divided on if Gov.
