{"id":125189,"date":"2026-02-27T16:01:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T16:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/125189\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T16:01:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T16:01:07","slug":"pheaa-announces-no-essay-scholarship-for-pennsylvania-students-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/125189\/","title":{"rendered":"PHEAA announces no-essay scholarship for Pennsylvania students \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency has announced a new scholarship program for Pennsylvania students, and you don\u2019t even have to write an essay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">On Tuesday, the PHEEA announced the that 2026-27 college students, graduate students and their parents can enter for a chance to win a $2,500 scholarship through the PA Forward Student Loan Program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThe PA Forward Student Loan Program enables students to cover the gap between financial aid and the cost of tuition with an affordable private education loan,\u201d said Sen. Wayne Fontana, who is the chairman of the PHEAA board of directors in a release. \u201cWe are proud that we\u2019ve been able to establish this program and aid students in another way in affording their dreams of higher education.
