The story began in 1991, when State College entrepreneur Greg Woodman recognized a need. Central Pennsylva\u00adnia\u2019s business leaders deserved a plat\u00adform \u2014 a publication dedicated to telling their stories, recognizing their achieve\u00adments and connecting a growing regional economy. What began as a bold vision serving Centre County and surrounding communities quickly became something far greater: a trusted voice for decision- makers, innovators and risk-takers across the region. <\/p>\n
Through changes in ownership, including King Printing and later Sample News Group in 2007, the mission remained clear. That mission endures today. Now serving 23 coun\u00adties, Pennsylvania Busi\u00adness Central stands as the region\u2019s definitive B2B publication. The launch of Women in Business in 2016 amplified the voices of female leaders who continue to transform our economy. The introduction of Senior Living in 2022 recognized the growing industries supporting one of our most important and expanding populations. <\/p>\n
