It reminds me that spring is coming soon,&#8221; said Maxine Goldman of Northeast Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There are installations imagining lush garden parties and tranquil ideals, themed &#8220;Rooted,&#8221; anchored in love of nature and one another.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;All of the stories, personal experiences, things that grandparents taught you, things you learned from a friend &#8211; these are the things that shape how you garden and interact with plants, and we wanted the Flower Show to talk about that this year,&#8221; said Matt Rader, president of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;&#8216;Rooted,&#8217; I think, is excellent. They&#8217;re so different, every one of the displays &#8211; so much color. It&#8217;s color overload,&#8221; said Linda Kates of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;It&#8217;s beautiful. There are so many things to see,&#8221; added Megan Clarke of Mount Airy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Visitors can also take part in hands-on activities, picking up gardening tips or creating terrariums and flower crowns. This year, the popular marketplace is located downstairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;We have so many exotic houseplants. We&#8217;ve got bulbs. We&#8217;ve got apparel. We&#8217;ve got jewelry, gourmet food items and outdoor furniture.
