The congressman said, “Once again, an American President is sending brave Americans to fight and bleed in a Middle East regime change war. Let’s be clear: Donald Trump is ordering other people’s kids to risk their lives in an unauthorized war the Congress and the American people have not approved.” Congressman Deluzio went on to say he believes that Congress should reconvene immediately, before adding, “To every hawk cheerleading this war \u2014 answer a simple question: how many American troops should die for this?” In a video message posted to social media, President Donald Trump called on the Iranian public to “seize control of your destiny” by rising up against the Islamic leadership that has ruled the nation since 1979.
