\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Lynn E. Ernst, 85, of Edenburg, Windsor Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital \u2013 Cedar Crest.<\/p>\n
She was the wife of Ralph P. Ernst, who died November 8, 1989.<\/p>\n
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Irwin and Verna (Gruber) Henne. Lynn was a 1958 graduate of Hamburg High School. She worked as a payroll clerk at Pennsylvania Steel and various other companies. <\/p>\n
Lynn was a member of St. John\u2019s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg, where she was a choir member for more than fifty-five years. <\/p>\n
Lynn is survived by two daughters: Monica E. (Martin) Capitella, Hamburg; and Mindy L. (Martin) Rabert, wife of Keith Rabert, Kempton; three grandchildren: Jeret Reber, Daniel Capitalla and Andrea Capitella; and one great-grandson: Bryson Capitella.<\/p>\n
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at St. John\u2019s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 Church Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. There will be a visitation with the family from 1:00-2:00 pm. Burial will be private in St. John\u2019s Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the church at the above address. <\/p>\n
