The fastest girls in the state are from the Lancaster-Lebanon League.<\/p>\n<p>Cedar Crest\u2019s Kaddel Howard won the 200 and 400 and McCaskey\u2019s Ella Petrosky captured first in the 60 at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association indoor championships at Penn State.<\/p>\n<p>Howard swept her two events for the second consecutive season. The senior is a four-time indoor state champion in the 400.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps most impressive were Howard\u2019s times. The University of Florida recruit finished the 400 in 53.03, beating the field by 3.31 seconds, and the 200 in 23.51. Both times are meet records and rank in the top seven nationally.<\/p>\n<p>Petrosky helped McCaskey finish second in the girls team competition with 32 points. Penn Charter was first with 40 points.<\/p>\n<p>The sophomore ran 7.54 in the 60, which set a personal best and ranked second in the state this season. Petrosky was the PIAA runner-up in the outdoor 100 as a freshman.<\/p>\n<p>Other McCaskey individual standouts included Corrine Miller, fourth in the 200 at 24.87, Carolynn Main, sixth in the mile at 4:57.45, and Ruby Garner-Valle, sixth in the 3,000 at 9:54.49.<\/p>\n<p>McCaskey\u2019s 800 relay team of Petrosky, Miller, Alondra Grover and Damani Crosson placed first at 1:41.01. That was the best time in the state this winter. The Red Tornado\u2019s 4,000 distance medley relay of Main, Garner-Valle, Vivian Salerno and Shiloh Tebie was eighth at 12:18.23.<\/p>\n<p>Ephrata\u2019s Sophia Rivera placed fifth in the shot put at 43-4.75. The senior swept the PIAA outdoor shot put and discus last season.<\/p>\n<p>On the boys side, Cedar Crest\u2019s Travis Furmanski had the top finish with a silver medal in the 3,000. The senior, who finished in 8:23.46, was the PIAA Class 3A cross country champion in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>Ephrata had three top-eight finishers: Aaron Young was fourth in the long jump at 23-2.5,<\/p>\n<p>Ryder Newlin was eighth in the 60 hurdles in 8.25 and Toby Barrett was eighth in the triple jump at 44-8.5.<\/p>\n<p>Penn Manor\u2019s Ethan Kloppmann and Cedar Crest\u2019s Cam Tirado finished tied for fifth in the high jump at 6-5. Tirado has also played basketball this winter.<\/p>\n<p>Hempfield\u2019s Will Newport was seventh in the pole vault at 14-0. That was his personal best.<\/p>\n<p>McCaskey\u2019s 3,200 relay team of Leudy Diaz, Benjamin Gillespie, Thomas Ardia and Tyran London placed seventh at 7:55.78.<\/p>\n<p>Haverford School won the boys team competition with 41 points.<\/p>\n<p>\n                Success!
