Colorado Hockey Now<\/p>\n
The Avalanche bounced back from the Minnesota loss by defeating another Central Division foe. This one wasn\u2019t quite in the same spot in the standings as the Wild, but it was a good performance regardless.<\/p>\n
Most importantly, Cale Makar found the back of the net. As did Gavin Brindley.<\/p>\n
Makar\u2019s first of two goals came just seconds after an expired Avalanche PP. It wasn\u2019t technically a goal scored on the man advantage, but it was the PP unit that basically created the opportunity.<\/p>\n
Makar admitted the lack of PP success has taken its toll.<\/p>\n
