Anthony Cavezza, 84, of Scranton, passed away on Sunday morning at home. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, the former Paulette L. Hortin.<\/p>\n
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Pearl Strick Cavezza. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Scranton. He was an auditor for the Department of Defense and a proud Army veteran.<\/p>\n
Tony was an avid Penn State Football fan and a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n
Also surviving is a daughter, Christina Cavezza and a son, Patrick Cavezza, both of Scranton. Grandchildren, Dehjza and Uzzyah. Great-grandchild, Carson and his father David. A sister-in-law, Joelle Hortin, Scranton.<\/p>\n
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.<\/p>\n
