Jean Delores Delong, 95, of Reading, PA, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the St. Francis Home in Shillington.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She was the widow of Donald Delong who passed away in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Born December 26, 1930 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Wertz Sr. and Esther (Bucks) Wertz.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During her working years she was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills as a Pre-boarder and was later employed by Grafika Print which she retired from in 1987.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In Jean\u2019s free time she loved to play bingo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She is survived by one brother, Dennis B. Wertz of Reading, PA.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Jean was predeceased by three siblings: Irene D. (Wertz) Lape; Frederick R. Wertz Jr.; and Lean C. Wertz.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Services will be private at the convience of the family.\u00a0<\/p>\n
