Read Across America Week kicked off on Monday.<\/p>\n
It’s in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and it’s celebrated to encourage early childhood literacy and a love of reading.<\/p>\n
On Monday, our Elspeth Mizner made a visit to the Barber National Institute to read to a classroom full of three, four, and five year-olds. Officials at the Barber National Institute said said in today’s day and age with lots of technology, it’s important to encourage reading.<\/p>\n
