Thousands of people from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in – safely and anonymously – a record amount of prescription drugs during\u00a0Drug Take Back Day, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.<\/p>\n
Locations in our area will be holding\u00a0Drug Take Back Day events on\u00a0Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n
Residents can rid their homes of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications.<\/p>\n
Accepted during Drug Take Back Day, and throughout the year at permanent MedReturn boxes, are prescription and over-the-counter tablets and capsules, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays, pet medicines and vaping products.<\/p>\n
