BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 Bensalem Police seek two suspects from Philadelphia after a search of their car found a stash of guns, drugs, and money. <\/p>\n
A Bensalem Township police officer pulled over a vehicle on Feb. 21 near Lincoln Highway and Street Road after spotting a red Ford Fusion with a “suspicious temporary registration” committing a traffic violation. <\/p>\n
The driver was identified as Xianni Stallings, 23, of Philadelphia, and the passenger as Nasir Smith, 30, of Philadelphia, police said.<\/p>\n
During the traffic stop, officers detected the odor of fresh and burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both occupants stated they did not possess medical marijuana cards, police said.<\/p>\n
Police observed marijuana packaging and a marijuana cigar inside the car. Police asked to search the vehicle, but denied the request.<\/p>\n
The two were released, but the car was towed to Bensalem Township police headquarters pending a search warrant. <\/p>\n
The search warrant found:<\/p>\n
A loaded Ruger .380 semi-automatic pistolA loaded Smith & Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol with an obliterated serial numberAbout 60 packages of suspected marijuanaA digital scaleU.S. currencyA counterfeit temporary registrationAdditional drug paraphernalia<\/p>\n
Further investigation found that Stallings and Smith are prohibited from possessing firearms under Pennsylvania law, and neither possessed a valid license to carry.<\/p>\n
Arrest warrants have been issued, charging both with: <\/p>\n
Persons Not to Possess a FirearmPossession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial NumberFirearms Not to Be Carried Without a LicensePossession With Intent to DeliverRelated offenses<\/p>\n
Both were given the opportunity to turn themselves in, but refused, police said.<\/p>\n
