LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 Lower Merion Township is hosting two clean up days this next month.<\/p>\n
The free clean-up weekend is Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 at the Public Works Complex.<\/p>\n
Lower Merion Township residents only can get rid of various items at the complex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.<\/p>\n
Unwanted refuse, recyclables, small household appliances, textiles, plastics, glass, paper, aluminum are accepted at the clean-up days.<\/p>\n
Recyclable materials must be separated from household trash.<\/p>\n
Several non-profit groups will be on hand to collect bicycles, computers, furniture, clothing, and more.<\/p>\n
Items not accepted are TVs, oil based paints, household hazardous waste, and construction or demolition debris.<\/p>\n
Latex paint is accepted, but must be hardened for disposal.<\/p>\n
Proof of Lower Merion Township residency is required to use the service.<\/p>\n
The Public Works Complex is located at 1300 N.
