ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A local construction project manager and community advocate has officially announced his candidacy for Allentown City Council.<\/p>\n
Cristian Pungo made the announcement last week via new release.<\/p>\n
Pungo is running on a platform centered around “Building Up Allentown,” a vision he says prioritizes housing and infrastructure expansion, community investment and increased access to economic and educational opportunities for city residents.<\/p>\n
“Allentown is my home. I grew up here, went to school here, and have built my career here,” said Pungo. “My parents worked tirelessly to provide a better future for me, and that same drive is what fuels my commitment to our city. We need leadership that listens, acts, and believes in the potential of every resident.”<\/p>\n
He currently serves as a construction project engineer at Alvin H. Butz, Inc.<\/p>\n
