{"id":12974,"date":"2025-10-23T22:12:16","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T22:12:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/12974\/"},"modified":"2025-10-23T22:12:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T22:12:16","slug":"when-where-and-dos-donts-of-fourth-of-july-fireworks-in-bethlehem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/12974\/","title":{"rendered":"When, where and dos, don\u2019ts of Fourth of July fireworks in Bethlehem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2014 As the city ramps up for <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleynews.com\/arts-culture\/entertainment\/ahs-oohs-and-food-where-to-celebrate-july-4th-in-the-lehigh-valley\" data-cms-ai=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Independence Day festivities<\/a>, it reminds residents and others that celebrating the fun shouldn\u2019t come at the expense of safety.<\/p>\n<p>Bethlehem will put on a fireworks show around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, July 4.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFired from Sand Island, the fireworks will be visible from various areas of the city particularly around the City Center Plaza on East Church Street,\u201d the city said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Sand Island East will be closed at 7:30 a.m. on Independence Day for fireworks setup.<\/p>\n<p>The American Legion Band also will host a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at City Center Plaza between City Hall (10 E.
