The 11,000-square-foot facility will be located next to the PSBA&#8217;s headquarters on Baden Powell Lane in Silver Spring Township. It will include new technology, including:  360-degree smart screens for immersive safety scenarios,Simulated classrooms and a two-story school building for real-life experiencesA lecture hall for classroom-style trainingThe association says it will have the most advanced school safety technology available in the country. &#8220;I think the idea to have the hands-on training using this incredible technology will really benefit all the local school districts, teachers, principals, school resource officers and everyone who is responsible for children&#8217;s safety,&#8221; said Kathy Swope, a PSBA board member.Once completed, Swope says school districts that are members of the association and law enforcement will be able to use the facility.
