The Erie SeaWolves announced a new alternate identity for the upcoming 2026 season.<\/p>\n
For four games, the SeaWolves will be known as the Flagship City Kitties.<\/p>\n
Go for gold \u2014 Billboards around Erie display Team USA\u2019s Olympic medal count <\/a><\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n The identity is meant to celebrate 25 years as the Detroit Tigers\u2019 Double-A affiliate.<\/p>\n While the Flagship City pays homage to Erie itself, kitties is meant to represent all of the Detroit Tigers\u2019 players who came through the SeaWolves clubhouse over the years \u2014 Kitties being younger versions of the tigers.<\/p>\n \u2018Fin-tastic\u2019 new beer available at Splash Lagoon thanks to local partnership <\/a><\/p>\n More than 200 former SeaWolves have reached the big leagues over the years after refining their skills in Erie.<\/p>\n The kitties will take the field on June 12 and 13, as well as August 7 and 8.<\/p>\n Merch is available now, and you can find it by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
