Metropolitan Bakery<\/a> is closing its location on 19th Street in Rittenhouse Square on March 15, after 32 years in business.<\/p>\n“Thank you for supporting us for more than three decades. It has been an honor to serve you and to be part of your celebrations and daily life,” owners Wendy Smith Born and James Barrett shared in a statement. <\/p>\n
The bakery shared that they are transitioning their business to Merzbacher\u2019s of Germantown.<\/p>\n
