Police said Orner\u2019s passenger was almost thrown off the motorcycle because he was going fast when cresting a hill by a property off of Brysonia Wenksville Road. He also went through an orchard and almost lost control in the grass on a property off Coon Road.<\/p>\n

The pursuit eventually came to a stop along Ed Avenue at Two Ring Road on Bear Mountain in Menallen Township. The post reads that suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia were found on Orner when he was arrested.<\/p>\n
Police stated results from Orner\u2019s chemical test showed he was under the influence of cocaine.<\/p>\n
Before the chase, police said they tried to pull him over in Bendersville Borough at 8:47 p.m., but he took off. There were warrants out for Orner\u2019s arrest on felony charges that included prohibited possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and receiving stolen property, police said.<\/p>\n
Orner was charged Oct. 16 with felony counts of fleeing or attempting to elude officer, flight to avoid apprehension\/trial\/punishment and DUI \u2013 3rd offense. His also faces misdemeanor drug charges, according to online court records.<\/p>\n
Police said he was taken to Adams County prison to be arraigned on his charges after his chemical testing.<\/p>\n
Bendersville police also extended its thanks to Pennsylvania State Police, Cumberland Township Police, Tyrone Township Constable Fitting, and Gettysburg Borough Police for their help in the pursuit.<\/p>\n
