People are asked to avoid the area and allow for extra time for their travels.<\/p>\n<p>Police say people should be prepared for traffic delays.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, a few homes near the area of Brentwood Avenue were condemned because of a sinkhole.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PALMER TWP., Pa. &#8211; A sinkhole is causing road closures in Palmer Township, Northampton County Thursday afternoon.
