Bucks County leads the state in arrests.    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Oct 23, 2025 11:42 am EDT | Updated Oct 23, 2025 12:34 pm EDT    <\/p>\n<p>BUCKS COUNTY, PA \u2014 Snapchat, TikTok, and KIK are among 15 social apps Bucks County authorities are warning parents about in the wake of a crackdown on child predators.<\/p>\n<p>Bucks County is leading the state in arrests and prosecutions of Internet Crimes Against Children, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-subscribe\"><a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/bensalem\/subscribe?utm_source=amp&amp;utm_campaign=subscribe&amp;utm_medium=mobile&amp;utm_term=subscribe_in_article\" class=\"article-subscribe-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Subscribe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn made that statement during a recent press conference in which Bensalem Police announced that 17 men have been charged so far this year for sex crimes against children.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past three years, <a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/bensalem\/17-men-arrested-child-exploitation-so-far-year-pd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bensalem Police have made 49 arrests related to child predators<\/a> who have had unlawful contact with minors and other related offenses, including child pornography.<\/p>\n<p>During the press conference between the Bensalem Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney&#8217;s Office, authorities also discussed community education initiatives and steps parents can take to help protect their children from online predators.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur police officers are dedicated to tracking down offenders who use technology to exploit children. There are no jurisdictional boundaries for child predators; they can victimize our children from anywhere,&#8221; Bensalem Public Safety Director William McVey said.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities were also encouraging parents to stay vigilant about their children\u2019s internet use, monitor online communications, and report any suspicious behavior to law enforcement immediately.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is no more worthy cause than protecting our children,&#8221; Schorn said.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities outlined 15 social apps where child predators lurk and make contact with their underage victims.
