(WHTM) \u2014 A Pennsylvania state trooper was shot during a traffic stop in Chester County just over the Lancaster County line, officials said Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Chester County Commissioner Eric Roe said the trooper was shot during a traffic stop in West Caln Township.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cPlease join me in praying for the state trooper who was shot moments ago during a traffic stop in West Caln Township,\u201d Roe said in a Facebook post. \u201cChester County\u2019s brave police officers put their lives on the line for us every day. I thank all of them for their extraordinary bravery and sacrifice.
