{"id":133566,"date":"2026-03-09T15:30:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T15:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/133566\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T15:30:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T15:30:08","slug":"how-pittsburgh-region-airports-could-be-impacted-by-chicago-ohare-flight-cuts-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/133566\/","title":{"rendered":"How Pittsburgh-region airports could be impacted by Chicago O\u2019Hare flight cuts \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/organization\/federal-aviation-administration\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Federal Aviation Administration<\/a> is stepping in to potentially limit the number of flights going into and out of Chicago O\u2019Hare International Airport, a key destination for travelers at four airports in western Pennsylvania including Pittsburgh International Airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Chicago is a popular destination from PIT, with several daily flights on both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/organization\/american-airlines\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">American Airlines<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/organization\/united-airlines\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United Airlines<\/a> as well as their regional carriers.
