WE\u2019LL WATCH FOR THE CHANCE OF A STRAY SHOWER, BUT REALLY OUR MAIN RAIN DAY IS WEDNESDAY. THAT\u2019S WHEN A COLD FRONT BRINGS HERE TO BRING RAIN AND A FEW ISOLATED STORMS. THEY COULD GET STRONG TO SEVERE. AND BECAUSE OF THAT, WEDNESDAY IS A SEVERE WEATHER ALERT DAY 68 DEGREES FOR US TODAY. AMPLE SUNSHINE 72 TOMORROW. AGAIN, A STRAY SHOWER CHANCE OR MAIN CHANCE IS WEDNESDAY. WE\u2019LL WATCH FOR A LEFTOVER SHOWER IN THE MORNING ON THURSDAY, MAYBE EVEN A FLURRY INTO THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS. MUCH COLDER THOUGH. 42 IS YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURE ON THURSDAY. WE\u2019RE BACK INTO THE 50S. ON FRIDAY WE WILL HOLD NEAR 50 ON SATURDAY. SO IF YOU ARE MAKING PLANS TO HEAD DOWNTOWN FOR THE SAINT PATRICK\u2019S DAY PARADE, IT\u2019S GOING TO BE CHILLY. TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 30S AS THE PARADE STARTS. WE\u2019LL BE IN THE 40S AS THE PARADE COMES TO AN END, BUT OTHER CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE. AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO NEXT WEEK, 60S FOR US ON SUNDAY, WE\u2019LL WATCH A SYSTEM GETTING HERE LATE THAT WILL BRING EVEN COLDER AIR AGAIN NEXT WEEK AS HIGHS HEAD BACK TO 40 NEXT MONDAY. SO LET\u2019S START TOMORROW AGAIN. THERE IS AN ISOLATED SHOWER CHANCE. WE\u2019LL SEE INCREASING CLOUDS THROUGH THE DAY. PERHAPS A QUICK PASSING SHOWER AT ANY POINT ANYWHERE. IT\u2019S NOT A WASHOUT TOMORROW, BUT A COUPLE OF SHOWERS WILL PASS BY. WILL THEN DRY OUT AS WE HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING, AND THEN WE\u2019LL WATCH THROUGH THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY AS WELL. THE POTENTIAL TO SEE SOME THUNDERSTORMS. IT LOOKS LIKE OUR FIRST MAIN WAVE IS LIKELY HERE AROUND MIDDAY. IF WE SEE THIS WAVE WE LIKE WILL LIMIT OUR SEVERE THREAT IN THE AFTERNOON WHEN THE COLD FRONT GETS HERE. BUT STILL A COUPLE STRONG STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE AND THEN THINGS WILL START QUIETING DOWN. LATE WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY AS THE COLD FRONT FINALLY PASSES. AND AGAIN, A SNOW FLAKE OR TWO IS POSSIBLE EARLY ON THURSDAY. DAMAGING WINDS ARE OUR PRIMARY CONCERN, ALONG WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS. WE CAN\u2019T RULE OUT THOUGH SOME HAIL OR EVEN A BRIEF TORNADO, BUT THOSE THREATS ARE VERY LOW. THIS IS MOSTLY A DAMAGING WIND AND HEAVY RAINFALL THREAT. SUNSHINE TODAY. NO WEATHER CONCERNS FOR US AT ALL. 59 IS THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE AT PITTSBURGH. INTERNATIONAL WINDS ARE SOUTH SOUTHWEST. AT 15. THEY\u2019VE BEEN GUSTING TO ABOUT 20 TO 25MPH TODAY. It appears that two cars ended up underneath a collapsed awning. Dispatch confirmed two people were transported. Their condition is unknown at this time. It is unclear what led up to this incident and whether any arrests will be made.
