\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA man from Pitcairn, Allegheny County, was arrested Monday in connection with a fatal crash on the Parkway East in Pittsburgh. Jordan Bowyer, 24, was the driver of a vehicle that crashed near Exit 72B (Boulevard of the Allies) on Sept. 21, 2024, according to the criminal complaint.Brooke Howard, 20, of Pitcairn, died at the scene, and another passenger was seriously injured with cuts, bruises and an amputated toe, police said in the complaint.The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office said an arrest warrant was issued Saturday, following an investigation by state police, and Bowyer was taken into custody at his home Monday morning.An online docket showed that Bowyer is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges that include homicide by vehicle and DUI.Download the WTAE app to stay connected with breaking news.
