Submitted photo<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">Patricia Burkhart, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania\u2019s chief executive officer, announced she is retiring after 23 years in the role. Burkhart will step down in June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">Burkhart has served as CEO since 2007. A news release said she has served in various positions and leadership roles with the Girl Scouts for 23 years. There will be a national search for her successor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">\u201cHer impact\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0measured in years, but in the tens of thousands of girls who experienced the amazing benefits of Girl Scouting during her tenure.
