{"id":134657,"date":"2026-03-10T17:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T17:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/134657\/"},"modified":"2026-03-10T17:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T17:52:08","slug":"pittsburgh-brothers-charged-after-law-enforcement-seizes-nearly-50k-in-narcotics-from-their-home-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/134657\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh brothers charged after law enforcement seizes nearly $50K in narcotics from their home \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Two Pittsburgh brothers are in custody and facing multiple charges after a search of their home resulted in the seizure of nearly $50,000 in narcotics, the Pennsylvania Attorney General\u2019s Office said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Attorney General Dave Sunday says multiple local law enforcement agencies took part in the search of Rodney and Andre Howard\u2019s home, located on Shetland Street in the City of Pittsburgh. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">During that search, officials reportedly seized bricks of fentanyl, 1,200 fentanyl pills, 10.5 ounces of crack cocaine and other drugs, as well as two handguns and a shotgun.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/https:\/\/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com\/cmg\/2JWC34J2WNCOXIH4C5HMHR632Q.jpeg\" width=\"1440\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"ImageMetadata__MetadataParagraph-sc-1htor29-0 jibCgM image-metadata\">AG&#8217;s Pittsburgh Drug Bust (Pennsylvania Attorney General&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cOur Region Five agents, along with partners, continue to take drugs and firearms off the streets in western Pennsylvania at rates that should offer encouragement to residents who want to live without fear of violence,\u201d Attorney General Sunday said. \u201cThese brothers \u2014 convicted felons \u2014 were pushing poisons into neighborhoods and were willing to illegally carry firearms to protect their trade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Howards face numerous charges for drug trafficking, drug possession and illegally possessing firearms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The brothers are both being held in the Allegheny County Jail, Rodney on $50,000 cash bail and Andre on $10,000 cash bail.
