Hellertown Police say a 47-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly trespassing at a home in the 100 block of Northampton Street last week.<\/p>\n
In a news release, police said Ryan Donald Bergey of Emmaus was \u201clooking into the windows and attempting to enter\u201d the home on March 3 shortly after 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
Police said that when officers arrived at the home in response to an \u201cunwanted person call,\u201d they found Bergey \u201cstill on the porch\u201d and took him into custody.<\/p>\n
Bergey has been charged with Felony 2 criminal trespassing and Misdemeanor 3 loitering and prowling at night time, according to Northampton County court records.<\/p>\n
The docket filed in his case indicated that he was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail March 3. Bail was posted on his behalf by a professional bondsman on March 6.<\/p>\n
According to the docket, a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. March 17 before District Judge Alan Mege in Lower Saucon Township.<\/p>\n
The docket did not list an attorney for Bergey.<\/p>\n
