{"id":135131,"date":"2026-03-11T04:57:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T04:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/135131\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T04:57:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T04:57:10","slug":"new-evidence-surfaces-in-alleged-identity-theft-ring-in-bethlehem-as-1-of-3-accused-appears-in-court-bethelehm-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/135131\/","title":{"rendered":"New evidence surfaces in alleged identity theft ring in Bethlehem, as 1 of 3 accused appears in court | Bethelehm Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BETHLEHEM, Pa. &#8211; More details emerged Friday on an alleged identity theft ring in Bethlehem, as one of the three accused &#8211; 37-year-old Giovanni Guridy &#8211; appeared in court Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Among the evidence investigators say they found inside a Bethlehem home: 23 original checks used to make fake checks, and 22 driver&#8217;s licenses with Guridy&#8217;s picture on them.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say the ring was discovered in August following the issuance of a narcotics warrant at the home.<\/p>\n<p>Guridy and co-defendants Melissa Ramos and Francisco Rodriguez Ayala now face 655 counts each.<\/p>\n<p>Guridy and Ramos are being held on 10% of $500,000 bond.
