\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA Pittsburgh police officer now faces a felony assault charge stemming from an off-duty bar fight last month in Pleasant Hills, Allegheny County.Richard Dilimone Jr., 36, is charged with aggravated assault in connection with the Feb. 8 incident at The Pleasant Bar on Old Clairton Road, according to the criminal complaint.In the complaint, a Pleasant Hills police officer wrote, “Our investigation indicated that on 2\/8\/2026 at approximately 0108hrs. the defendant, Richard Dilimone, struck the victim on the forehead with a beer bottle. The victim sustained a large laceration to the forehead and was transported to the hospital by Baldwin EMS for treatment.”The incident was captured on security cameras at the bar, and the video will be available for court, according to the complaint.An online docket indicates that Dilimone was granted non-monetary bail and is awaiting a preliminary hearing on March 25.The city’s public safety department confirmed that Dilimone is a detective with the police bureau and is on paid leave.Three other officers were placed on leave amid an internal investigation, police spokesperson Cara Cruz said in a statement last month.
