The shoe will feature Lower Merion\u2019s maroon and white jersey colors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">Mock-ups of the shoe have been released since the <a class=\"relative z-1 text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\" data-link-type=\"article-body\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/sixers\/nike-kobe-bryant-sneaker-lower-merion-protro-20250522.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/sixers\/nike-kobe-bryant-sneaker-lower-merion-protro-20250522.html\">original announcement in May<\/a>, and the shoe will feature Bryant\u2019s No. 33 on the back right heel, an ace symbol on the back left heel, a metallic silver and team red-white base color, and the late basketball player\u2019s signature just above the midsole. The shoelaces are maroon with white dot designs, and the midsole is half white, half maroon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">The Kobe 5 Protro \u201c<a class=\"relative z-1 text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\" data-link-type=\"article-body\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/topic\/lower-merion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lower Merion<\/a> Aces\u201d will become the eighth shoe that Bryant dedicated to his former high school, joining the Kobe 4 \u201cLower Merion,\u201d Kobe 5 \u201cLower Merion (home),\u201d Kobe 5 \u201cLower Merion (away),\u201d Kobe 6 \u201cLower Merion,\u201d Kobe 7 \u201cLower Merion Aces,\u201d Kobe 11 \u201cLower Merion,\u201d and the Nike Hyperdunk \u201cLower Merion\u201d PE.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">Lower Merion retired Bryant\u2019s No. 33 high school jersey in 2002, and the Hall of Famer and former Los Angeles Lakers star made a large donation to the school in 2010.
