BOYERTOWN, Pa. – If you\u2019re looking for creative ways to watch the leaves change in our region, you\u2019re in luck.<\/p>\n

A Berks County train excursion will take you sightseeing and on a journey right through the fall foliage.<\/p>\n

69 News Reporter Cierra Genelle visited The Colebrookdale Railroad<\/a> in Boyertown Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The train rides give riders incredible views during the Fall. The restored century-old rail cars take riders for a two-hour train ride, the\u00a0Colebrookdale Railroad website says.<\/p>\n

Dr. Steve Wysowski, Director of Educational Programs and Conductor at the railroad, said this time of year is beautiful and serene.<\/p>\n

“It’s a step back in time to elegance and splendor,”\u00a0Wysowski said.<\/p>\n

When guests arrive, they report to the station and pick up tickets, then head to the courtyard, where they can grab some hot chocolate. They then board the train, and then they’re off.<\/p>\n

Guests can see eagles, deer, foxes, and other animals along the way.<\/p>\n

Wysowski says the train rides offer white-coat service.<\/p>\n

General Manager\u00a0Josh Alderfer said the train cars date back to the 1920’s, and the railroad aims to go with an Edwardian theme.<\/p>\n
