Ahead of Citizens\u2019 newest branch\u2019s ribboncutting, its Pittsburgh market president said the building is symbolic of the evolution of how customers bank.<\/p>\n

Now Citizens is focused on fine-tuning through upgrades \u2014 renovations, relocations and, in the case of the East Liberty branch, a rebuild.<\/p>\n \u201cThe story isn\u2019t branches go away; the story isn\u2019t the world\u2019s going digital,\u201d Mark Rendulic, western Pennsylvania market president for Citizens, said. \u201cThe story is customers still very much value branch presence. Not all will look the same.
